On Friday, February 5th the MMEI team went RED for heart disease awareness and prevention.
Each year, heart disease and strokes cause 1 in 3 deaths among women. However, 80% of these deaths are preventable with healthy lifestyle changes. This year, MMEI is proud support heart disease prevention, challenging all of it’s supporters and followers to make healthy lifestyle changes. They include eating healthy, staying active, managing blood sugar and blood pressure, and avoiding smoking.
